great lineup over at the mayo arts center this weekend.  no sense in breaking it up, here ’tis in one post.  former frontman of the guess who, burton cummings, commanded the stage friday night cheers-ing the crowd between songs and laying down rock and roll all over the place.  saturday night brought on 30 rock’s tracy morgan.  his original date was canceled because of the crazy, freak snow storm back in october. and as luck would have it morristown got hit again saturday morning – though not enough to keep the sold out crowd from seeing him.  nore davis opened the show, and made me laugh my ass off!

after a brief hiatus, i am back shooting at the mayo arts center in morristown, nj.  first up for the year was rock and roll hall of famer, frankie valli.  i caught up with him on night two of three sold out performances.

i met up with these two families just before the holidays and am finally getting around to the blog post.  i had an awesome sunday morning with these guys!

i was in to photograph the newly renovated health club and pool area located in the morristown hyatt. check out this massive space:

after a few redesigns i was able to produce a copy of the book that is “reasonably priced”.  hell, i can’t afford to buy it but hopefully you can. it couldn’t be better timing actually. the main gift giving holidays are upon us.  email this link ( http://www.lulu.com/product/paperback/the-bedroom-project/18727028 ) to that special someone and tell them this is what you want.  sure it won’t arrive in time for said holiday, but its the thought that counts, right?!

the fact is i’m impatient – i can’t wait another three months to hear back on all my unsolicited manuscript submissions, so i went ahead and self published via lulu.com. for those of you that saw the copies at the show last spring, this is the same company that made those so you know these will look amazing.   the new book is softcover and measures eight and a half inches squared. perfect for coffee tables, bookshelves, the nightstand, or even that wicker basket next to the toilet!

in between last minute sessions and filling holiday orders i managed to sneak out and “spend the weekend” over at mpac photographing some amazing shows.

we’ve been having this exceptionally weird warm weather in northern new jersey despite the fact that it is well into december.  great for me, lets keep this outdoor faux fall stuff rollin’!  meet elyse; she’s super smart, super cute,  super compact, and she also happens to be one of my closest friends. check it!

yep! all three on stage at the same time! the folks at mpac hosted this very cool performance. apparently these  guys did a show together this past summer, hit it off and figured they’d head out on the road together performing their huge collection of hits and a few christmas tunes. fun stuff.

i had the pleasure of photographing chicago at mpac last week. they killed it, no doubt, they’ve been at it for years and it all sounded amazing!
